Google Reader – Printing Full Text For All Items

EDIT: There is no longer any need for this hack – simply get the latest version (2.0) of the Google Reader Print Button script.

I normally use a desktop feed reader, but I’ve recently been trying out web based feed readers. Google Reader seems to be the best, but it lacks the ability to print more than one full text item in the Expanded View. A simple hack to the Google Reader Print Button script for Greasemonkey fixes this.

I Got My 21 Cents…

22 cents actually. A day or so after enabling Google Adsense, my blog generated its first income from a click. A day later, another cent appeared. I’m not sure where the extra cent came from. It’s not from a click and it can’t be from impressions. I guess Google were just feeling generous.

New WordPress Plugin – DualFeeds – Full Post and Summary Feeds

I have just released a new WordPress plugin called DualFeeds, which allows you to offer your readers both full post and summary feeds.

WordPress only allows you to offer your readers one format. The problem is that some people prefer to have the full post to read now, while others prefer to have summaries they can skim through now and follow up later.

DualFeeds allows your subscribers to choose the format that suits them.
