I know Bing is new search engine and there will be few issues will be there, i also search my targeted keywords for some keywords it is showing nice results and for few it is showing on after 100 pages compare to google, but anyway nice search engine by microsoft.

Be careful with that javascript, piling up too much could pose some problems with older/slower browsers at interpreting it. There is such a thing as too much javascript :)

    • Montana,
Umm, no the JavaScript isn’t on the website, it’s in the Browser, courtesy of the Greasemonkey Firefox extension. If they can run greasemonkey, they’ll have no problem with the script.

I’ve heard about Bing several weeks ago but I only used it few days ago. I must say that I still want to stick with Google. Maybe, in due time, Bing will be competitive enough for Google when it comes to search engine.

  4. You are correct! open source can rally build on top of the works of others!!

  5. I’m a big fan of Greasemonkey after I used it to add smileys to my post on blogger back in the days. But since I’m too lazy to research, I have never come across a script that would number the results in Google much less Bing. So I’m giving these two a try as I’ve been using Bing quite often the past few weeks.

Also, thanks for introducing me to Userscripts! LOL

  6. It’s a good script to have. It gets irritating counting results to see where you are.

You mentioned the Google SERP results numbering script. This has stopped working for me since the Google Caffeine update. Does anyone have any idea how to get this working again?
